Sierra Nevada - a skiers paradise
Not everyone knows that Andalusia is not only sunshine but also snow! Frost and low temperatures on the Costa del Sol are extremely rare, but it only takes less than two hours by car to Granada and higher up to the Sierra Nevada to visit a great ski resort.
Sierra Nevada is a mountain range in the Betic Mountains in Andalusia, and is the highest range in mainland Spain. Its highest peak and at the same time of the entire Iberian Peninsula is Mulhacén (3478 meters above sea level), which counts among the Crown of Europe.
