The Spanish property market continues to attract foreign investors. In the third quarter of 2024, as many as 14.9% of all property purchases were made with foreigners. Although this percentage remains stable, we are seeing significant changes in the structure of buyers.
Traditionally, the UK, Germany and France have led the way. However, in the last quarter, the French dropped to sixth place and the Swedes saw a significant drop in interest in the Spanish market. The Poles, on the other hand, moved up to fourth place, matching the British in terms of the number of properties purchased.
The top 8 provinces with the highest percentage of home purchases by foreigners in the third quarter were:

🔹 Balearic Islands: 32.5%

🔹 Murcia: 24.7%

🔹 Almería: 17.7%.
